I hope you did the circle of life exercise from my previous post. If not, I strongly encourage you to do it now. No, no, no. Not later. Now! You’ll need it before you read any further.

So, by now you should know which areas of your life you would like to work on the most. But the next question is: how do you know what you should do to create and/or improve these chosen parts of your life?

You may have some ideas in mind after the bagua map and/or vision board. But if you didn’t spend time on them (I encourage you to do this as well), I have another proposal for you. Take your time and try to visualize what you would like to look like in 10 years’ time. Get your imagination to work and ask yourself these questions:

What do you look like? Fit and healthy, wearing a different style of clothes, just the same as now…
Where are you? In a dream house, in another country, by the seaside, in your own office…
Who is next to you? A wife/husband, children, friends, co-workers, or perhaps you’re on your own…
What are you doing? Learning something new, making a big transaction, meeting other people or just traveling around the world…
How do you feel? Happy, curious, fulfilled, in love, excited…

set goals imagination
Remember one important thing: don’t restrict yourself in any way. Just let your thoughts and feelings soar with complete freedom. For the moment, you have absolutely no barriers.

Try to imagine as many details as possible, with all the colours, tastes, smells, and sounds. You can even close your eyes to get a sense of all your feelings as well as the surrounding space. Try to do this so that they feel almost real.

This picture – or maybe you even created a short film in your mind – should help you set some main goals for your desired life.

I’m planning to write a little more about every area of life in this blog, so if you want to know more, please just wait for my upcoming posts.

Thanks for reading and hope to see you again!
